The Role

Build & Improve Internal Tools: Develop web apps, APIs, and cloud/on-premises systems that streamline BHS operations and maintenance.
Unlock Data-Driven Decisions: Design dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), automate reporting, and analyse performance metrics to optimize baggage flow and reduce downtime.
Solve Real-World Problems: Collaborate with engineers and ops teams to troubleshoot issues, integrate third-party systems, and modernize legacy workflows.
Ensure Reliability & Security: Apply DevOps best practices and uphold standards for scalability and compliance.

We’re Looking For

2+ years in full stack development (e.g., React/Next.js/Vue for front-end or Python/Java/C# for back-end).
Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, AWS Aurora) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred: Lambda, S3, CloudFormation).
Strong data skills: Advanced Excel, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), and experience with large datasets.
A problem-solving mindset—you see inefficiencies and can’t resist automating them.

Big Pluses:

Open-source contributions
Experience with legacy system modernization (e.g., JSF, JBoss) or IoT/embedded systems (relevant to BHS hardware).
Knowledge of AI/ML applications (e.g., predictive maintenance, anomaly detection).
