The Opportunity

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering end-to-end water and wastewater projects - from design and documentation through to project management and commissioning. You’ll get to work on a variety of systems and see your work come to life in the field. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and looking to build your career in a role that blends design with real project delivery, this is a great opportunity.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage water-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery

• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timelines, and effectively communicate them to the team

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met

• Oversee the design, construction, and installation of water systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards

• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed

• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to procure necessary equipment and services

• Prepare project documentation, including reports, specifications, and drawings

• Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders, including management and clients

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety throughout the project

Your Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)

• Experience in project management, preferably in water-related projects

• Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise tasks effectively

• Knowledge of water treatment technologies, processes, and systems

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities to address project challenges

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

• Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
