Tyree Transformers has grown from strength to strength and we are continuing our steep growth trajectory. To assist in managing this ongoing growth, the Company is seeking an IT Support Technician to fill a permanent vacancy.
Reporting to the ITC Manager, this role would be well suited to a person looking for a stable and rewarding professional career looking to expand their skills in a growing and evolving business.
Key Responsibilities:
· Interest and aptitude in Information Technology and Communication
· Work across a wider team managing multiple priorities of time sensitive tasks.
· Troubleshooting various IT technical issues relating to desktop hardware and software, mobile devices (iOS), printing, network connectivity, Windows, Office 365, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, and other common desktop applications.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
· Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers)
· Monitor and change printer consumables (Toner & Drums) as required, ensuring records are kept and replacements ordered.
· Follow up with Employees to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting
· Monitor and report on Backup regularity, changing media as required.
· Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals
· Work as part of a team, willing to learn and grow in the role

Qualifications & Experience for Success
· Certificate III or IV in Information technology – preferably with experience in a technical support role
· Hands-on experience with Windows in an Active Directory environment – Linux not essential but would be advantageous
· Proficiency in managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, including configuration, deployment, and administration of mobile devices.
· Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
· Some experience in managing virtual machine environments using platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, and vSphere
· Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
· Familiarity with Remote Monitoring and Management applications, preferably Datto
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
· Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
