Project Overview

In real case studies within the China–Australia engineering industry, interns will gain the following practical skill enhancements:

1. Product Technology and Localization Practice

  • Participate in the preparation of Australian Design Rules (ADR) documents and testing support, gaining an understanding of practical requirements in mining, agriculture, and logistics scenarios.

  • Conduct comparative analysis of Chinese and Australian vehicle engineering standards, and master overseas technical entry processes.

 

2. Customer Communication and After-Sales Support Skills

  • Assist in after-sales support for trucks and engineering equipment, including customer follow-ups, recording technical issues, and coordinating feedback with manufacturers.

  • Support customer development and problem-solving, improving communication and coordination skills in engineering-related scenarios.

 

3. Technical Sales and Market Research Skills

  • Assist the local team in compiling industry application highlights, preparing product manuals, presentations, and video content to support technical demonstrations for the sales team.

  • Conduct on-site customer visits and industry research to understand product competitive advantages and customer value models (e.g., Total Cost of Ownership analysis), and assist in drafting market trend analysis reports.

 

4. China–Australia Project Collaboration and Bilingual Adaptability

 

  • Participate in cross-border technical communication, liaising with the headquarters engineering team and co-authoring materials in both Chinese and English.

  • Understand collaborative workflows across multiple cultures and time zones, enhancing international project participation capabilities.

  • Build professional networks and strengthen workplace communication skills within engineering industry settings.
