We are a boutique accounting practice based in Southeast Melbourne. We specialise in providing personalised tax and business advisory services to individuals and small businesses. Our culture promotes professionalism, flexibility, and trusted long-term relationships with our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrator / Bookkeeper to support our team. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexible part-time hours in a stable and professional work environment. The position has the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • General office administration and reception duties
  • Data entry and basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • Assisting with BAS and payroll preparation
  • Assisting with tax return preparation & other ad hoc tasks
  • Client and ATO liaison as required

Key Requirements

  • Must be fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • At least 1 year of experience in bookkeeping & accounting rule
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks
  • Good practical knowledge in bookkeeping and taxation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Available 2–3 days per week
  • Must reside in Australia and have permanent work rights
